MrBeast receives backlash for defending his controversial collaboration with Logan Paul and KSI and not responding to serious allegations
YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" has responded to criticisms of his newly launched food and beverage venture, Lunchly, which he launched alongside Logan Paul and Olajide "KSI." For those unaware, several prominent personalities have expressed their dissatisfaction with Lunchly, including YouTuber Daniel "DanTDM," who accused MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI of "selling crap to kids." Meanwhile, Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" referred to the product as "cancer."
On September 18, 2024, MrBeast responded to the controversy via an post on X, comparing Lunchly to its competitor, Lunchables. According to the Kansas native, his goal was to provide a "better alternative," which offers fewer calories, less sugar, and "more electrolytes":
"Lunchables sells hundreds of millions of units and countless people eat it. Our goal is to give people a better for you alternative to it. Our turkey meal for example is 80 less calories, 60% less sugar, more electrolytes, we use real cheese they use 'cheese product' (they can’t call it cheese), higher quality meat, etc."
Netizens weren't too happy with the most-subscribed YouTuber's response, as many expected him to respond to the serious allegations against him made by individuals such as DogPack404, Jake Weddle, and Rosanna Pansino.
X user @Angelica_Reed1 remarked that MrBeast was "all quiet" about the allegations but was "really quick" when it came to "defending his profits."

X user @kangminjlee believed that the 26-year-old was "trying to make more money."

Meanwhile, one community member said the content creator "only addresses allegations" when it comes to selling products aimed at younger demographics.

A brief recap of some serious allegations made against MrBeast
MrBeast has been in the headlines ever since grooming allegations against Ava Kris Tyson surfaced on the internet. On July 24, 2024, DogPack404, the YouTuber's former employee, accused him of manipulating children, fabricating videos, running illegal lotteries, and selling fake signatures to fans.
Another former employee, Jake Weddle, made serious allegations, claiming that MrBeast kept him sleep-deprived while filming a video. In addition, Weddle claimed that the YouTuber hired a registered sex offender, who was known as "Delaware," while working for the company.
Rosanna Panisno has also leveled accusations against the Wichita, Kansas native. On August 18, 2024, she claimed to have received numerous testimonials from Beast Games participants, alleging that "very concerning" things occurred while the game show was being filmed.
