Rosanna Pansino accuses YouTube of "intentionally promoting vile dude-bro bullies" amid recent controversy involving MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI
Rosanna Pansino has chimed in on the recent controversy surrounding Jimmy "MrBeast," Logan Paul, and KSI, accusing YouTube of "intentionally promoting vile dude-bro bullies." For those unaware, MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI recently launched Lunchly, a food and beverage collaboration brand that has sparked criticism from the online community.
Daniel "DanTDM's" comments about the venture recently went viral, as he claimed that the YouTubers were "selling stuff for the sake of making money."
On October 1, 2024, Rosanna Panisno responded to KSI's September 25, 2024, X post, in which he defended tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee's contentious $50/year wallpaper app and called DanTDM a "dumba**."
Expressing her frustration with YouTube, Pansino wrote:
"I, for one, am fed up with YouTube intentionally supporting and promoting vile dude-bro bullies who don't care about the platform, their fans, or the damage they're doing. I remember when Logan Paul filmed a dead body for entertainment, and YouTube kept the video trending #1 for an entire day."
"People like KSI, Logan Paul, and MrBeast simply don't have to follow any resemblance of YouTube's rules": Rosanna Pansino
Rosanna Pansino also commented on the "disgusting stunt" that caused YouTube's infamous "adpocalypse." For context, the "adpocalypse" refers to an event that occurred in 2017, when prominent advertisers attempted to boycott and withdraw from YouTube following a series of controversies.
While accusing the Google-owned video-sharing platform of "trotting Logan Paul around like a show pony," Pansino provided details about what YouTube executives allegedly told her back then:
"I also remember that disgusting stunt causing an 'adpocalypse', which cost medium and small-sized creators a lot of money (lost AdSense revenue and lots of brand deals pulled out for creators because of Logan's actions). And you know the real kicker?
"YouTube then proceeded to trot Logan Paul around like a show pony in front of all the creators he hurt, and, I'm not even kidding, EXECUTIVES at YouTube told me that they were going to 'fix' Logan Paul and 'help him become a better person.' How's that going, YouTube?"
According to Paniso, MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI "don't have to follow" YouTube's rules. She elaborated:
"It's apparent to me now that people like KSI, Logan Paul, and MrBeast simply don't have to follow any resemblance of YouTubes rules, and will continue to be the bullies they are until they lose support. So when you see them crying about their well-deserved backlash, just remember YouTube has supported them every step of the way."
As of this writing, neither MrBeast, Logan Paul, KSI, nor YouTube has responded to Rosanna Pansino's criticisms.
