Twitch streamer Tylilshow apologizes for his sister's alleged sexual assault on Michael Rainey Jr on camera
Twitch streamer Tylilshow, also known as TyTy James, posted an apology on X for his sister's alleged sexual assault on actor Michael Rainey Jr during James' stream on the platform. His apology addresses his sister's behavior, where he mentions how he felt embarrassed by it. In his post, he also gave Michael the freedom to take whatever action the actor feels is required.
The streamer said that he was extremely shocked after seeing what had happened and has 'banned' his sister from appearing in future streams. In his apology, Tylilshow also promised that nothing of this sort would happen again and reaffirmed that he does not condone any form of assault.
Michael Rainey Jr looks uncomfortable in viral clip of assault by Tylilshow's sister
TyTy James' apology came as a result of a clip from his previous stream going viral on social media. In it, James' sister was seen getting close to actor Michael Rainey Jr and inappropriately grabbing him. Michael could be seen looking visibly uncomfortable in the clip, while awkwardly laughing. He was also reported to leave the house earlier than expected.
James further said in the stream that he was trying to ignore the incident but the chat kept mentioning his sister's behavior. He then decided to speak about it and somewhat sided with her during the stream. He said:
"She never seen somebody that caliber so she start. That's my sister so I'm not gonna say nothing bad about her. I'm just gonna check her and tell her, 'You ain't gotta be on that. We all the same. We all human."
Many X users reacted to the viral clip and pointed out how awkward and uncomfortable the Orange is the New Black actor looked.
