"We have been a part of many, many cancellations": Nmplol explains why OTK joined Kick

Twitch streamer Nick "Nmplol" has explained why OTK (One True King) decided to join Kick. On June 13, 2025, a one-minute-36-second video from OTK's first-ever exclusive event on the Stake-backed livestreaming platform surfaced on X. In it, Nmplol responded to those asking why the organization signed a deal with Kick.

According to him, One True King had been involved in "many cancellations," resulting in sponsorship losses. He elaborated:

"So, a lot of people are kinda wondering, 'Man, you know, OTK - Kick, blah, blah, blah.' Let me tell you why it's important, okay? As you guys have known, we have been a part of many, many cancellations here at OTK. Right? Yes, many, many, many, many cancellations. What happens is, when you get cancellations, you lose the old sponsorships. You know what sponsorships can do, Esfand? (EsfandTV responds, 'Pay your people!') Yes, can pay your staff and pay your people. Blah, blah, blah."

Nmplol then described the deal with Kick as an "awesome opportunity" to get "everything back in action":

"So, we have this awesome opportunity to partner with Kick Studios, so we can get everything back in action. Our staff, everything, we've been working on this for the last few days. You know, with Jacob, Syn4ack, and all the OG staff. In fact, Syn4ack is right there. We are not taking Phin back; he's just here helping. He has nothing to do with us."

Netizens on X had a lot to say about Nmplol's statement.

"Feel like they just admitted their org is a ticking time bomb," X user @hayden_c_t remarked.
"Great idea. Always wish success to you guys," @Thirty88766803 wrote.
"Translation the orgs already dead, theyre getting one last check before they disband," @InaneStories commented.
"OTK cant survive without asmon, they just keep leeching on the man," @DarkoneNewsRead posted.

"Your little emails that LSF has been sending, it doesn't do s**t anymore - Nmplol claims netizens and fans no longer have power over OTK

Nmplol also claimed that the r/Livestreamfail subreddit community had been sending emails, presumably to their sponsors. Stating that netizens and fans no longer have power over One True King because of their new deal with Kick, the Twitch streamer remarked:

"I'm going to be honest, chat, we now have the ability to do whatever the f**k we want. You know, your little emails that LSF's been sending, it doesn't do s**t anymore. It's done! You know, so we can do whatever we want now. So, it's absolutely amazing."

In other news, One True King co-founder Matthew "Mizkif" announced on June 12, 2025, that he won't be livestreaming on Kick, claiming that the platform's owner "made him try to kill himself."
