On that note, let's take a look at the top five players who've scored the most points in WNBA Playoffs history.

#5 Maya Moore

Totaling 1077 points in the playoffs, former Minnesota Lynx star Maya Moore was an efficient scorer in the WNBA playoffs. She averaged 19.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 1.7 steals across the 56 playoff games she played, shooting 46.6% from the field and 39.8% from beyond the arc.

The Lynx never missed the playoffs in the eight seasons that Moore played for the team, making the finals in six of them and winning the WNBA title in four.

#4 DeWanna Bonner

DeWanna Bonner's longevity and consistency in the league have allowed her to score 1079 points in the WNBA playoffs. She overtook Maya Moore in the category after scoring 127 points in the 2023 playoffs as the Connecticut Sun fell to the New York Liberty in the semifinal round.

Bonner has made the playoffs 13 times in her 15 seasons in the league prior to this season. The two-time WNBA champion has averaged 13.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in 80 postseason appearances, shooting 40.1% from the field and 30.2% from deep.

#3 Tamika Catchings

With Tamika Catchings leading the way, the Indiana Fever made the WNBA playoffs for 12 seasons in a row till 2016, after which she retired from the league. She has scored 1141 playoff points. Since then, the Fever has been unable to make the playoffs up until this season, as Caitlin Clark led them to clinch the sixth seed.

Catchings has made the playoffs 13 times in her 15-year career, leading the Fever to a championship in 2012. The former WNBA MVP averaged 16.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.2 steals in the 68 playoff games she played while shooting 39.7% from the field and 32.8% from beyond the arc.

#2 Candace Parker

Having retired ahead of the 2024 WNBA season after a 16-year career in the league, Candace Parker is famed as an elite scorer in the WNBA. The three-time WNBA champion scored a total of 1149 points in her playoff career to secure herself at the second overall spot.

Parker has appeared in 66 playoff games across the 13 seasons she played in the postseason. She averaged 17.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks across the games while shooting 48.1% from the field and 30.4% from three-point range.

#1 Diana Taurasi

Leading by 300+ points in the category, Diana Taurasi's unmatched scoring consistency has got her a total of 1455 points yet in the WNBA playoffs, as she will look to extend it in the upcoming playoffs.

Taurasi has made the playoffs 13 times since she entered the league in 2004 and has won three championships with the Phoenix Mercury. The WNBA All-time leading scorer has averaged 20.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in the 71 playoff games she's played so far while shooting 44.6% from the field and 37.4% from beyond the arc.
