Angel Reese gives a shoutout to Jayson Tatum's girlfriend Ella Mai over new album

As the WNBA offseason continues, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has had time to engage in a lot of activities. In a tweet on Wednesday, she gave a shoutout to Ella Mai, the girlfriend of NBA star Jayson Tatum.

Reese expressed her admiration for Mai's music, specifically the song "Little Things" from her recent EP, 3.

"Little Things-Ella Mai>>>>," Reese tweeted.

Angel Reese has been a lucky charm to home teams, NFL and NBA, whenever she visits this offseason. Her most recent visit was to the Orlando Magic's Kia Center for their 111-100 win over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.

She's currently preparing for the upcoming Unrivaled tournament, working on her shooting both in and beyond the arc.

Angel Reese responds to troll that criticized her rookie season

Angel Reese responded to an internet user who called her out for her debut WNBA season on Wednesday, criticizing her struggles with layups.

"U realize u can't make a lay up on the first try most times, right?" the user wrote.

Her response was brutal while she praised her rookie season efforts:

“Do you realize I got drafted 7th in my class while 'missing layups' as a ROOKIE shooting 39% on the year & was STILL a all star and that was the worst you’ll ever see me??? or you just laid up with your dog at home hating Adam??”

The former LSU star had a record-breaking season for the Chicago Sky. Her efforts saw her become the first rookie to clinch a triple-double. And she achieved that in multiple games.

Furthermore, she achieved 20 double-doubles in 27 games, the fastest in league history. However, she sustained a wrist injury and her season was curtailed short. Reese ended her debut season with 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
