Angel Reese highlights Caitlin Clark as top WNBA Shooter alongside Sabrina Ionescu & 3x WNBA Champion
Angel Reese named the three best 3-point shooters in the WNBA. The Chicago Sky forward welcomed comedian Funny Marco to her weekly podcast, "Unapologetically Angel," where they talked about basketball, their backgrounds and other topics.
After Reese talked about her desire to work on long-range shots, Marco asked her who she considered the three best shooters in the WNBA. Reese picked a fellow rookie, a veteran and a legend.
"Between Caitlin [Clark], Diana Taurasi... Who would you say? Sabrina? Between those three," Reese said. (5:48 mark)
After Marco mentioned Jewell Loyd as part of that group, he suggested that the Seattle Storm star should go to Chicago, as she would be 'crazy' playing alongside Chennedy Carter. More than that, he added that the Sky added a new coach, which can benefit everybody in the organization.
"He's good. He came from the Aces too, so he won some championships," she added.
Caitlin Clark has been showing off her range since her college days. She was expected to change the WNBA with her style of play and had to adapt to the league in her rookie season.
As for Sabrina Ionescu, one can say she was Clark before Clark. She entered the league as the No. 1 overall pick, posing a threat from beyond the arc and considered the next big thing in the W.
Diana Taurasi is one of the greatest to play the game and a legend of the Phoenix Mercury franchise, taking them to several championships while showing off her traits as a shooter and playmaker.
Angel Reese shares new video of her offseason workout
Angel Reese is trying to expand her game and become a solid shooter after a good rookie season. She's hitting the lab to become a better version of herself for the 2025 WNBA season.
Reese keeps working to improve her level of performance and after a video of her offseason workout went viral over the weekend, the Sky's player has stopped showing off her work on social media. She shared an Instagram video showing her drills, attempting 3-pointers from the corner and other spots, as well as long 2-point shots.
She heavily relied on her shots under the rim in her rookie year, which earned her criticism from fans. Angel Reese is working to change that and become a serious threat on both ends.
