Caitlin Clark drops 2-word reaction on Iowa's Jada Gyamfi's smooth euro step highlight

Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark reacted to her former teammate Jada Gyamfi’s impressive highlight play during the Iowa Hawkeyes’ dominant 94-57 victory over the Toledo Rockets on Wednesday. Gyamfi executed a smooth euro step, finishing with a highlight-worthy layup in front of 14,998 fans at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City.

The video of Gyamfi’s play was posted on Iowa Women’s Basketball’s official Instagram account, where it received a wave of applause. Among the fans was Clark, the WNBA’s reigning Rookie of the Year, who shared the video on her Instagram story, adding a two-word caption playfully asking Gyamfi to teach her the move.

"teach me," Clark wrote.

The Iowa forward ended the game with five points and one rebound, shooting 2 of 3 from the field, including 0 of 1 from beyond the arc, and making one of her two free throw attempts.

Clark and Gyamfi, who share a close friendship, spent two seasons together at Iowa. With Clark leading the team, they reached consecutive National Championship games in 2023 and 2024.

Jada Gyamfi called Caitlin Clark her "GOAT"

Caitlin Clark made a sensational impact in her rookie WNBA season. Drafted first overall by the Indiana Fever, the dynamic point guard averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game. Her outstanding performance earned her the Rookie of the Year award.

Even before Clark was officially named the WNBA’s 2024 Rookie of the Year, the Associated Press (AP) had awarded her the prestigious honor. Jada Gyamfi celebrated Clark's AP Rookie of the Year win, leaving a two-word comment.

"My goat," Gyamfi wrote while sharing an Indiana Fever post on her Instagram story.

Earlier in the year, Gyamfi opened up about the emotional moment when she reunited with Clark for the first time after she transitioned to the WNBA.

"And it's so weird. Caitlin, I got to see her this weekend on Saturday. We sat down the couch and I was just like holding her hand and just rubbing her shoulder, smelling her cheeks and her hair," Gyamfi said on "Fresh Tawk" in Aug. 2024.
"Like, scratching her head, and I'm like, 'Oh look at you!' because it's so weird."

Clark is enjoying the offseason after leading the Fever to their first WNBA playoff appearance since 2016. The Fever’s 2024 season concluded with a 2-0 first-round playoff loss to the Connecticut Sun.
