Caitlin Clark hilariously praises ex-Iowa teammate Gabbie Marshall for TikTok quiz antics with bf Spencer Touro
Caitlin Clark continues to share an excellent bond with her former Iowa teammates. Gabbie Marshall, who played five seasons for the Hawkeyes and ended her basketball career after the 2023-24 season, was also one of them. Clark and her friendship with Gabbie was on display for their fans on TikTok on Thursday.
Gabbie posted a TikTok quick with her boyfriend Spencer Touro, to which she asked him questions about things that only "girls know the answer to." She held a whiteboard with her throughout the six-minute-long video. Clark hilariously praised her former teammate for that antic, saying:
"Love y0ur whiteboard. Was essential to make the video possible."
While reading from the whiteboard, Gabbie asked Spencer a wide range of questions, from women's grooming necessities to makeup and other accessories.
Caitlin Clark loves Gabbie Marshall and her boyfriend Spencer Touro's date night snaps
Caitlin Clark seems like a fan of Gabbie Marshall and her boyfriend Spencer Touro's relationship. The Indiana Fever star showed love to the couple on Gabbie's Oct. 20 post with Spencer from their "date night."
"date nights are my fav," Gabbie wrote.
Clark commented on the post, saying:
"Hawtttttt. Love you two"
Caitlin Clark played all of her four college seasons next to Gabbie Marshall in Iowa's starting lineup. Gabbie was Clark's veteran, too. She entered college a season before Clark. She was key in spreading the floor with her shooting ability and was the team's defensive stopper. Gabbie averaged 6.6 points and 1.4 steals in 166 games, shooting 39.1% from 3 on 4.0 attempts.
However, Marshall didn't turn into a pro like Clark, who decided to leave for the NBA instead of returning for a fifth season at Iowa. It's turned out to be a great decision for the Fever star, who won the WNBA Rookie of the Year in her first season and finished fourth in the MVP voting.
Clark also made it as a WNBA All-Star in her rookie year. The former Iowa prospect helped the Fever reach the playoffs for the first time in eight years with her exceptional debut season.
