Caitlin Clark, Kate Martin and several of their former teammates had a reunion at Iowa on Saturday. Members of the 2023-24 Iowa Hawkeyes women's roster were at the Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City to support their football team against Northwestern.

In an Instagram post, Gabbie Marshall shared photos from the reunion on the sidelines of the stadium field. Marshall was joined by Clark, Martin, Sydney Affolter, Kylie Feuerbach and Jada Gyamfi.

"The best weekend being reunited with all my people," Marshall wrote in the caption.

Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin commented on Gabbie Marshall's Instagram post. The trio were together for four seasons, helping Iowa win three Big Ten tournament titles and one Big Ten regular season championship and make back-to-back appearances in the NCAA championship game, in 2023 and 2024.

"LOVE YOU OH SO MUCH!" Clark wrote.
"Sweetness & cuteness," Martin commented.

Unlike Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin, Gabbie Marshall didn't pursue pro basketball after leaving Iowa. Marshall decided to retire from the sport following her final game for the Hawkeyes to get her Master's degree in occupational therapy at the University of North Carolina.

"I have had lots of time to reflect on all the incredible memories I have made, opportunities I have been given, people I have met, and friendships that will last forever because of the game of basketball," Marshall wrote.
"It has been my whole life for the past 18 years, I appreciate all the highs and lows, lessons I have learned and everything in between. Five-year-old me would be so proud of how far I have come and all that I have experienced."

Marshall was a starter for the Hawkeyes from her second season until her fifth year of eligibility. She averaged 6.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.4 steals in 166 career games at Iowa.

The Indiana Fever parted ways with coach Christie Sides after two seasons, the franchise announced on Sunday morning. Sides had led the Fever to their first postseason since 2016 but got swept by the Connecticut Sun in the first round.

There were some changes in the team's front office this offseason, with Kelly Krauskopf becoming the new team president and Amber the new general manager. It was a new regime in Indiana, so the coaching change wasn't surprising among the fanbase members.

Caitlin Clark played well under Sides, but there were some struggles early in the season. Clark finished the season as the Rookie of the Year and was fourth in MVP voting. Her presence accelerated the Fever's championship timeline, so the franchise is looking for the right coach for the Iowa legend.
