Dwight Howard's ex Te'a Cooper reacts to Rutgers' Ace Bailey's rapper Hunxho-inspired IG dump
Former NBA star Dwight Howard's ex-fiancée, Te'a Cooper, reacted with a series of applause emojis to Rutgers guard Ace Bailey's Instagram post, which featured snaps and videos of his on-court moments for the Scarlet Knights. The post was coupled with a caption that is inspired by rapper Hunxho's song, "Work My Move."
"I come from the jungle with the apes, Lord, I’m like Caesar 🦍🩸💯," Bailey captioned the post on Sunday.
Currently playing in his freshman year at Rutgers, Ace Bailey is considered to be among the top prospects for the 2025 NBA draft. In the six games he's played so far in his collegiate career, the 6-foot-10 guard is averaging 18.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals while shooting 46.7% from the field and 37.9% from beyond the arc.
Te'a Cooper shares training footage, likely preparing for a WNBA comeback
Currently a WNBA free agent, Te'a Cooper took to X, formerly Twitter, earlier this month to share a video of her training as she likely prepares to make a comeback to the league next season. The video featured Cooper practicing her craft while her two-year-old daughter, Stori, ran around the court.
Cooper also used her daughter's name to make for a punny caption for the post.
"Just part of my Stori ☕️🫶🫡," Cooper captioned the post.
Te'a Cooper and her boyfriend, NFL star Alvin Kamara, only recently introduced their daughter, Stori, to the world when they shared snaps in September this year. They had welcomed Stori in December 2022 and maintained the news as private till then. The WNBA free agent reportedly started dating Kamara in 2021 after her split with Dwight Howard.
Te'a Cooper previously played two seasons (2020-21) as a guard for the LA Sparks. The team surprisingly released her days before the start of the 2022 season after re-signing her to a new deal just four months prior.
Cooper averaged 7.0 points, 1.0 rebound and 2.0 assists in her rookie season and 9.1 points and 1.4 assists in the 2021 season. She played a total of 51 games in her basketball career in the WNBA, starting in 16 of them.
While she attempts to revive her WNBA career, Cooper is also a businesswoman and is the founder of Hollywood Luxury Hair. She is an ambassador for Fashion Nova and is also a social media influencer with over 2.5 million followers on Instagram.
