Fans joke about what Marlon Humphrey said to Angel Reese during Ravens vs. Bills game: “I watch women’s basketball cuz of you"

Fans hilariously tried to guess the exchange between Angel Reese and Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey. Reese was one of the special attendees for the NFL game between the Ravens and the Buffalo Bills, joined on the sideline by other big names like professional wrestler Seth Rollins.

In the video posted by the Ravens, Humphrey shook hands with the Chicago Sky star while saying something to Reese. While the team on X wrote that Humphrey was a big Angel Reese fan, fans on social media commented with their own funny guesses.

One of the fans wrote that Humphrey told Reese that he loved basketball and watched the women's game only because of her.

"I just love multiple layup attempts, it’s my jam," wrote one.
“I watch women’s basketball cuz of you”🥹❤️ another wrote.

There was also a fan in the comment section who refuted the Ravens' social media handle's claim that the cornerback might have told her that he was a fan.

"He is an elite level athlete. He can't honestly say that watching Angel Reese play Is elite level basketball," a fan wrote.
"Seth just looks like he’s waiting to say "I hate football"😂," another fan wrote.

There were also some fans who trolled Reese for looking directly into the camera after shaking hands with the NFL star.

"Why she look at the camera like dat😂😂😂😂😂," a fan wrote.
"The way she looks at the camera like “yall got that?” 😂," another fan wrote.

Baltimore Ravens call Angel Reese the "hometown legend"

It seems like Angel Reese is already a legend in her hometown. Reese, who grew up in Maryland and attended high school in Baltimore, was in attendance for the Ravens' game.

Before the game, she took to her social media to give updates to her fans. She posted a video telling her fans that she was back home in Baltimore supporting her hometown team, accompanied by her brother.

"Hey guys I am super excited to be in Baltimore back home, supporting the home team. Go flock!" Reese said.

The Ravens' X handle also posted her video on their handle and called her the "hometown legend."

After her first year in the WNBA, Reese has certainly earned a respectable reputation for herself. She broke several rebounding records in the league that were intact for decades while averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game.
