"I missed Jordan's prime" - Le'Veon Bell commits to being Caitlin Clark fan after likening her to Michael Jordan

Caitlin Clark is the sensation of the 2024 WNBA season. The All-Star break is here and the player finished the first half of the campaign with a terrific performance, scoring 24 points and dishing 19 assists. While a double-double is a huge feat per sé, Clark broke a notable record with this stat line.

The young guard set a new record for the most assists in a single WNBA game. Clark surpassed Courtney Vandersloot, who had previously recorded 18 assists in 2020. A lot of fans went crazy over this feat, while others criticized Clark for her behavior after losing to the Dallas Wings.

Former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell reacted to this record, vowing to become a Caitlin Clark fan after missing Michael Jordan's best years in the NBA.

"I missed Michael Jordan’s prime, I will NOT miss Caitlin Clarks 😂," Bell posted on X, formerly known on Twitter.

Le'Veon Bell has been actively discussing WNBA-related topics this week, including Jaylen Brown's appearance at a Summer League game between the Boston Celtics and LA Lakers with Chicago Sky star Angel Reese and former teammate Kysre Gondrezick.

Now, he's putting his attention on the other candidate to win the 2024 Rookie of the Year award. Caitlin Clark is making a huge impact on the league, making former stars from other sports pay attention to what she does.

Caitlin Clark is recording a terrific rookie season with the Indiana Fever

After a historic game against the Dallas Wings on Wednesday, Clark has strengthened her case for the Rookie of the Year award. ESPN analyst Rebecca Lobo even stated that her offensive performances make her deserving of the honor.

"She has scored or assisted on more points than any other player this season," Lobo said on Thursday's edition of 'Get Up!' "Right now because of what she's doing on the offensive end of the floor, certainly my vote would go to Caitlin Clark."

To add more, Clark has recorded more 20-point games this season than the rest of her rookie class. She's scored 20 or more Ponts on ten occasions this campaign, while also posting two 30-point games twice this season. In comparison to the rest of the rookie class, they only have six 20-point games under their belt.

Clark is putting on a show in the WNBA this season, getting better by the week. She already carried huge expectations and it's fair to say she's exceeding them.
