IN PHOTOS: Kysre Gondrezick back at the gym, shares glimpses of her training on Instagram

WNBA free agent Kysre Gondrezick is back in the gym and looks stronger than ever. The 5'9 shooting guard from West Virginia took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her intense training routine, sending a clear message that she's ready for the challenge.

One of the video snippets, captioned "love this game too much", showcases Gondrezick draining effortless three-pointers that once made her a top prospect in the league.

Gondrezick, the former Chicago Sky guard and fourth overall pick in the 2021 WNBA draft, has been a free agent since the end of June after being waived by the Chicago Sky due to her poor performance.

In February, Gondrezick was back in the league after taking a two-year break. She signed a temporary contract with the Sky for the WNBA minimum wage of $64,164 per year.

She was chosen as a substitute player on the 12-person team. But, after only playing in five games for the Chicago Sky, they waived her from the non-guaranteed contract.

Gondrezick only averaged 1 point per game and her three-point shooting was not good either, at only 16.7%. In the five games she's played for the Sky, she's also averaged a low number of rebounds (0.4), assists (0.4), and steals (0.8). This isn't the first time the Chicago franchise has released her.

While Gondrezick hasn't spoken publicly about her return, these latest videos speak volumes.

Jaylen Brown and Kysre Gondrezick make waves at the ESPYs

After being seen together during the Boston Celtics' championship parade, Jaylen Brown and now-free agent Gondrezick caught everyone's attention when they walked the ESPYs red carpet on July 11. The duo looked stunning in matching black outfits at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Gondrezick wore a dress with intricate lace detailing and a high collar, while Brown looked dapper in an all-black ensemble.

Jaylen Brown's Olympics snub has added to the offseason focus. Initially expected to be Kawhi Leonard's replacement, his teammate Derrick White was named to the roster instead, causing quite a stir on social media.

So, where will Gondrezick land? Speculation is already swirling. Several teams could be a good fit, with some needing a scoring punch on the wing, while others might value her defensive prowess.
