Lynx's Natisha Hiedeman reveals Skylar Diggins’ response after joking she no longer had crush on her

Only a few players are as confident as Skylar Diggins when it comes to basketball. However, a recent hilarious incident between Natisha Hiedeman and Diggins revealed that the Seattle Storm guard keeps her confidence in default mode, irrespective of the situation.

A video published on X by @mexxyjj showed Hiedeman discussing a hilarious on-court moment she had with Diggins. She narrated the unspecified event to her Minnesota Lynx teammate Courtney Williams.

Recounting an on-court heated moment between her teammates and Skyler Diggins, Hiedeman said that she stepped between her teammate and the Storm star. When Hiedeman put her hand on Diggins' chest, the Storm star pushed away her hand and told the Lynx player not to touch her.

What Hiedeman narrated next was a pure comedy. She acted out the whole incident with Williams, eventually recalling the hilarious threat she gave Diggins in the heated moment.

"I said, 'You know what, that whole little crush that I thought I had, is out the window, it's gone,'" Hiedeman recalled.

Perhaps the funniest part of the whole interaction was Skylar Diggins' reply to Hiedeman. The Lynx star revealed what the Storm player told her in reply.

"You know what she told me? She said, 'Shut up! you still like me.'"

Skylar Diggins opens up about tense exit from Phoenix Mercury

Skylar Diggins is one of the most competitive athletes in the WNBA. Last season, she joined the Seattle Storm from the Phoenix Mercury, signing a two-year deal with the team. However, Diggins' exit was not without drama.

It was reported that she exited the team because of her tense relationship with one of the Mercury star players.

"I never spoke out about this because there are so many layers," Skylar Diggins told Vanity Fair last month. "And in hindsight, I think I might have handled some things differently."

Diggins has taken two maternity leaves during her WNBA career, and both times, she ended up leaving her previous team. She also revealed that apart from her pregnancy, there was another reason that Mercury wanted to trade her.

"But Phoenix had been trying to trade me because I had a moment with the star player. Then, when they found out I was pregnant, they really wanted to trade me. I was eight months pregnant, and they had to pay me, but they were trying to move me."

Although Skylar Diggins has found a new home in Seattle, it hasn't been entirely without tensions. Last season, shortly after the Aces eliminated the Storm in the first round of the playoffs, the team set up an investigation into players' mistreatment by the coaching staff. She also posted a cryptic post on her IG Stories.

However, Diggins and her Storm team seem at a peaceful place now. Seattle holds the fifth seed in the league this season with a 6-4 record.
