LA Sparks star Cameron Brink announced her engagement to her boyfriend Ben Felter on Monday. Brink took to Instagram to share monochrome snaps of the proposal in Paris that featured the Eiffel Tower in the background.

While many WNBA fans congratulated the newly engaged couple, others took to X, formerly Twitter, to share hilarious reactions to the news.

The proposal was reportedly a surprise gesture organized by Ben Felter, as he had previously told Cameron Brink that he was on the West Coast for work. Felter reportedly proposed to Brink moments after she attended the Balenciaga runway show during Paris Fashion Week.

Following Cameron Brink's engagement announcement on her Instagram on Monday, the comment section of her post was filled with congratulatory messages for the couple's milestone. Many prominent WNBA stars, including Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull, Angel Reese, Sabrina Ionescu and more, congratulated Brink in the comments.

Cameron Brink and Ben Felter reportedly started dating in March 2021 while they attended Stanford University together. Both of them were student-athletes, with Brink being a basketball star while Felter was on the Stanford rowing team.
While Brink followed the WNBA path, Felter is pursuing his Master's degree at Stanford after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in June. He previously worked as a software engineer intern at Kaladin, a cryptocurrency startup, after which he moved on to work part-time as a machine learning engineer for Chegg in 2022.
Ben Felter then worked as a space portfolio analyst for the Defense Innovation Unit, a branch of the U.S. Department of Defense. He has been a researcher at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory since May 2023.
