Napheesa Collier's husband Alex Bazzell shows love to her candid snaps
Napheesa Collier was photographed on Sunday attending an event as she posted an array of images on social media. The Minnesota Lynx star shared candid snaps of her evening on Instagram as her husband Alex Bazzell showed love to her pictures.
Attending a seminar-cum-event, the 28-year-old was seen alongside journalist Cari Champion, and artists Mickalene Thomas, and Kennedy Yanko. Sharing a seven-image post, the 2019 WNBA Rookie of the Year captioned it:
"Art Arena 2024"
The post garnered a lot of attention, gaining 8,000 plus likes in under 12 hours. Many individuals showed their love for Napheesa and her light green outfit including her husband, Alex Bazzell. The basketball trainer and coach was among the comments, showing love to his wife:
"😍😍😍" Bazzell expressed in the comment section.
The pair have been engaged since 2019 and welcomed a daughter, Mila Sarah Bazzell, in May 2022. Napheesa and Alex got married later that year in St. Louis.
Napheesa is currently working to launch a new 3x3 league for women alongside Breanna Stewart called 'Unrivaled'. The new league will have its inaugural season in early January and will provide women players with another avenue to earn money during the WNBA off-season.
Napheesa Collier opens up about the challenges of dating a coach
On a recent episode of the 'Ringer' podcast Napheesa Collier and husband Alex Bazzell both appeared on the show to discuss various topics. The duo who are the founders of 'Unrivaled', with Alex as president spoke about their intentions for the league and how their relationship flourished after a rocky start.
Speaking about their relationship, Collier opened up about their dynamics especially due to Alex being her trainer in the beginning. . Explaining that it was 'hard at first' the Lynx star elaborated:
"It was hard at first Because we started out in a trainer-trainee relationship first, and then we got into a relationship. It was kind of hard to set those boundaries. I feel like both of our tempers, mostly mine, was like a little bit shorter in the beginning, We kind of had to have a sit down where it's like, when we're training, we're back to our trainer-training relationship, and then when we're not, we're back to, you know, being partners." Now two years into their marriage, with a daughter the couple seem to have worked out their difference and struck the right balance. Venturing as business partners with 'Unrivaled' the relationship has just gotten better with time.
