"So hard omg": Caitlin Clark reacts to friend Tyrese Haliburton's "evil" photos
WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark had a candid reaction to Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton’s spot-on recreation of Michael Jackson’s iconic 'Thriller' poster for Halloween. Haliburton, clearly embracing the Halloween spirit, shared several photos on Instagram on Monday, where he donned the famous "Thriller" outfit from 1982, channeling the King of Pop.
In one of the photos, Haliburton recreated the iconic Michael Jackson poster featuring zombies, posing surrounded by the undead. He also humorously paid homage to the famous meme of the pop icon eating popcorn.
"something evil’s lurking in the dark," captioned his post.
Caitlin Clark was one of several celebrities who reacted to Haliburton's striking post. The Fever star left a candid three-word comment in the comment section.
"so hard omg," the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year wrote.
Haliburton's girlfriend Jade Jones also responded to his eye-catching photos, leaving a sweet comment in the comment section.
"i’m paralyzed," Jade Jones commented.
Haliburton's teammate Obi Toppin and former teammate Buddy Hield also reacted to the post, with both NBA stars dropping fire emojis in the comments.
Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton's friendship
Caitlin Clark and her boyfriend Connor McCaffery have developed a close friendship with Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend Jade Jones. Haliburton, Jones and McCaffery were frequently seen sitting courtside together at Indiana Fever games, cheering on Clark in action during the 2024 WNBA regular season.
"I have grown to be pretty close to Caitlin and him (McCaffery). Me, her (Clark), him, and my girlfriend have a group chat that we talk pretty often," Haliburton had earlier said.
On Saturday, Clark attended a fundraising event for the Indiana Pacers, where she linked up with Haliburton. Photos from the event were shared on the Pacers' social media platforms.
Meanwhile, Haliburton is preparing to lead the Indiana Pacers in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season. The skilled point guard will take the court on Wednesday as the Pacers tip off their campaign against the Detroit Pistons.
On the other hand, Clark is enjoying her offseason after playing a pivotal role in helping the Indiana Fever end their eight-year playoff drought.
