Watch: Jrue Holiday's daughter's stern reply to "do you want to play basketball" question 

Reigning NBA champion Jrue Holiday was at the TD Garden for the WNBA game between the Connecticut Sun and the LA Sparks on Tuesday. Holiday attended the first-ever WNBA game at the TD Garden with his wife, Lauren Holiday, daughter, Jrue Tyler and son, Hendrix.

During the fourth quarter of the game, Connecticut Sun reporter Terrika Foster-Brasby asked an interesting question to Holiday's daughter, Jrue Tyler and her stern reply instantly went viral on social media.

"I don't want to play basketball," Holiday's daughter responded with a serious expression when asked if she wants to play basketball in the future.

Jrue Tyler was born into an exceptionally accomplished sporting family. Her father, Jrue Holiday, is a two-time NBA champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist, while her mother, Lauren, is a FIFA Women's World Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist.

Netizens react to Jrue Tyler's response

The internet went into an overdrive soon after the video of Jrue Tyler's response surfaced. Scores of fans dropped candid to Holiday's daughter's stern answer.

One of the fans asserted that Holiday's daughter was in no mood to indulge in a conversation with the Connecticut Sun reporter.

"jrue holiday daughter did NOT want to talk to terrika."

Boston Celtics reporter Noa Dalzell was also among the fans, who reacted to the video.

"LOL this is amazing. Jrue Holiday’s daughter asked if she wants to play basketball and the answer is a RESOUNDING no."

A couple of X users dropped a hilarious reaction to the video.

"Jrue Holiday's daughter got me crying lmao she said I do NOT wanna play basketball," a fan wrote.
"LMFAOOO Jrue Holiday’s daughter is such a mood," commented another X user.

Meanwhile, the TD Garden was sold out for the first-ever WNBA game, with 19,125 fans storming into the arena. The Sun marked the momentous game with a 69-61 victory over the Sparks.

Jrue Holiday fresh off winning a gold medal

Talking about Jrue Holiday, the Boston Celtics point guard was part of the USA men's national basketball team that won the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The two-time NBA All-Star played in five out of the six games. He missed the group stage game against Puerto Rico. Holiday averaged 7.6 ppg and 18.8 minutes per game in the quadrennial competition. The three-time NBA All-Defensive first team member shot 55.6% from the field and 50% from the 3-point range.

Holiday arrived in Paris for the Summer Games after winning the NBA championship with the Boston Celtics. The 34-year-old's two-way play was one of the major reasons behind the Celtics 18th NBA title.
