Watch: Justin Timberlake shouts out Sabrina Ionescu & New York Liberty for 'loaning' Barclays Center for his World Tour show

Justin Timberlake gave a shoutout to the New York Liberty before his concert at Barclays Center, part of his "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour," on Monday. The Barclays Center serves as the home arena for both the Liberty and the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets.

In a social media video shared by the Liberty, Timberlake, known for hits like "Can’t Stop the Feeling," "Mirrors" and "SexyBack," expressed his gratitude to Sabrina Ionescu and the New York Liberty for letting him use their arena for the concert.

“Sabrina and all of the Liberty, thank you for loaning your home to us this evening. We'll keep it warm. Let's go, Liberty. Let's go,” Timberlake said.

The New York Liberty are on a break, waiting to see who they'll face in the WNBA Finals. They defeated the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces, in four games. The Minnesota Lynx vs. Connecticut Sun series will decide their opponent, with Game 5 scheduled for tomorrow.

Ionescu is having her best playoff performance yet, averaging a career playoff-high of 20.7 points, along with 5.2 assists and 5.2 rebounds per game.

She's also shooting a playoff career-high 46.5% from three on 7.2 attempts per game.

Can the New York Liberty win their first championship in franchise history this season?

This marks the Liberty’s sixth trip to the finals, but they have yet to win a championship in their 28 seasons.

With a league-best 32-8 record in this year’s regular season, they've only lost one playoff game so far.

“It was really nice to see how we stuck together,” Ionescu said after the Game 4 win (per WNBA.com). “Obviously, we had a kind of rough game last game and it can go one of two ways. ... We came out here and understood we wanted to be our best and get this done because we deserve that.”

Despite their success, Liberty forward Breanna Stewart, who recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds in Game 4, emphasized they still have work to do.

“We haven't done anything yet. This was a tough series, an emotional series for a number of different reasons. But we're going to the finals and we're hosting Game 1 and Game 2. We're ready to go,” she said.

The Liberty have had different results against their potential opponents, the Sun and the Lynx. They won three out of four regular-season matchups against the Sun, but the Lynx took two of three meetings against them.
