Top 5 WNBA players with most playoff games feat. DeWanna Bonner

Connecticut Sun forward DeWanna Bonner made WNBA history during their Game 1 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday. The two-time WNBA champion has become the league’s all-time leader in playoff games played.

In her 15th WNBA season, Bonner, 36, continues to be a formidable player. She participated in her 83rd playoff game and, despite shooting just 4-for-17 from the field, contributed 10 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, along with a game-high plus-13 rating.

Connecticut prevailed over the Lynx 73-70, drawing first blood in their best-of-five semifinal series.

#1. DeWanna Bonner (83 games)

Drafted fifth overall by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2009 draft, Bonner secured two championships with the team in 2009 and 2014. She was traded to the Connecticut Sun in 2020 and has made the playoffs every year since.

Her playoff career averages stand at 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists over her 14 years in the postseason.

Diana Taurasi has had a legendary career, winning three WNBA titles, competing in six Olympics, earning 11 All-Star selections and holding the record as the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer with 10,646 points — nearly 3,000 points ahead of second-place Tina Charles.

While Taurasi has not officially announced her retirement, she has suggested that 2024 may be her final season. Her Phoenix Mercury were eliminated in the first round by the Minnesota Lynx.

She averaged 20 points, 4.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game in the playoffs.
