The Minnesota Lynx will face the Connecticut Sun in Game 4 of the WNBA playoffs semifinals on Sunday. The Lynx currently lead the series 2-1 after winning the last two games dominantly, following Connecticut's early advantage and Game 1 victory.

Napheesa Collier and her team have a prime opportunity to close out the series and secure a spot in the WNBA Finals with a win in Game 4. On the other hand, Alyssa Thomas and the Sun will be fighting to avoid elimination and force a decisive Game 5 with a home victory.

Minnesota Lynx vs. Connecticut Sun: Series so far

The Connecticut Sun struck first with a hard-fought 73-70 win in Game 1 at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Marina Mabrey had an outstanding performance, leading all scorers with 20 points. Alyssa Thomas narrowly missed a triple-double, posting 17 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists.

The Lynx bounced back in Game 2 with a 77-70 victory, despite reigning Defensive Player of the Year Napheesa Collier struggling with her shot and finishing with just nine points. It was a game the Sun would have expected to win, given Collier's off night.

However, in Game 3, Collier responded with a dominant double-double performance, propelling the Lynx to a commanding 90-81 victory on the road. Collier recorded 26 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block, leading her team to a crucial win.

The Sun's hopes of winning Game 4 and forcing a decisive Game 5 will largely hinge on their ability to contain Collier. Also, Stephanie White's team would require a flawless all-around effort to stop the Commissioner's Cup champions from advancing to the WNBA Finals.
