How to participate in Valorant Console Open Beta on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?

Valorant Console Open Beta is officially live for Xbox Series X/S and PS5. The title's Limited Beta was released on the same platforms on June 14, 2024, and has now concluded with the Open Beta's arrival. Valorant's X page announced the commencement of the new stage today, July 26, 2024.

The game is free-to-play so you have to bear no expenses during this stage. This article will explain how players can participate in the Valorant Beta.

How to participate in Valorant Console Open Beta?

The Valorant console Open Beta stage requires either Xbox Series X or S or the PlayStation 5 to participate. These are all new-gen consoles and Riot Games wants only the best hardware for their famous FPS title. Hence, no other console will run the game.

Let us dive into how you can participate and what makes you eligible to play in the Valorant console Open Beta:

You must be from the following regions to play during the Valorant console Open Beta: NA, EU, JP, or BR. However, the game will likely be available globally upon its full release on consoles.
Have a Valorant account without any significant bans.

Here are the steps you must follow to play the game:

Once you're on the home screen of your Xbox Series X/S or PlayStation 5, go to the Microsoft Store or PlayStation Store accordingly.
Here, search for Valorant and download the game.
Remember, you must have a Valorant account to play Valorant during the Open Beta. Link your Xbox or PS5 accounts to the game's account.
To do so, go to the official Valorant website. Now on the top right, you can see your account. Follow these steps: Account>Settings>Account Management>Connect Accounts.
Here you'll see the option to connect your PS5 or Xbox accounts. Connect to whatever console you own and the prompts should take you through the process smoothly.

Once you have connected your Riot account to your console account, the linking is complete and you can sign into the game and start playing Valorant console Open Beta on your Xbox Series X/S or PS5 device
