"I like all my teammates a lot": Shopify Rebellion's florescent after winning VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 (Exclusive)

VCT Game Changers Championship 2024, the last international Valorant LAN event of the year, has concluded after 10 days of thrilling matchups. The tournament's final day saw NA's Shopify Rebellion take on Brazil's MIBR in the Grand Finals. The Bo5 (Best-of-five) series was expected to be close but ended up being rather one-sided.

Shopify Rebellion quickly dismantled their opponents on each map. The decider map, Haven, was the only one where things looked a bit close but eventually, Shopify closed it out and won the series with a 3-0 scoreline.

After the match, Sportskeeda Esports' Sneh Jadhav got the opportunity to talk to Shopify Rebellion's florescent, during which she said:

Shopify Rebellion was arguably the best team to come into this championship event. The roster had already proven itself as the best last year and they did it again, becoming the first-ever back-to-back world champions in Game Changers.

In the entire event, Shopify Rebellion had flawless wins as they did not lose even a single map. Their closest match was the Bo3 (Best-of-three) series against G2 Gozen where both maps went to overtime. Shopify Rebellion's florescent put up a monstrous performance throughout the competition and won Game Changers' first-ever MVP award.

Sportskeeda Esports approached florescent and asked her what she would look back fondly on or remember the most from the 2024 event and the overall season. Here's what she said:

"Probably just being with my team and coaches and manager. I like all my teammates a lot and it was fun playing with them for two years."

With this win, Shopify Rebellion will be walking away with a total winnings of $180,000.
