"I used to be a fan of hers"— KRÜ BLAZE's biazik on her IGL face-off against G2 Gozen's mimi at VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 (Exclusive)

VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 is in its initial phase as teams are desperately trying to stay in the upper brackets. Day 2 had a total of three matches which included one between LATAM's KRÜ BLAZE and EMEA's G2 Gozen.

The Bo3 (Best-of-three) was an entertaining one to watch as both teams pushed each other to the limit. The teams were able to successfully win on their map picks which ultimately brought it to the decider region, Abyss. Here, G2 Gozen narrowly avoided overtime and won the map by 13-11 to close the series with a 2-1 scoreline.

After the match, Sportskeeda Esports' Sneh Jadhav got the opportunity to talk to KRÜ BLAZE's biazik during which she said:

KRÜ Esports is one of the few teams that has consistently made international appearances in the GC scene. The team has always struggled to perform on the global stage despite having a strong showing at regional events.

VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 is where this seems to be changing as KRÜ BLAZE has delivered above and beyond in terms of their performance. The team was able to win comfortably against Pacific's ZETA DIVISION and also managed to make things extremely close against one of the tournament favorites, G2 Gozen.

In the matchup against G2 Gozen, both teams were tested heavily in terms of skill and adaptability. The G2 roster is teeming with experience which also includes the veteran IGL (In-game Leader), mimi, who has proven herself time and again in crucial situations.

Sportskeeda Esports approached KRÜ BLAZE's IGL, biazik, to ask about how her experience was calling shots against a top-tier IGL like mimi in such an intense match.:

"It was really good playing against her (mimi). I used to be a fan of hers before when I was playing another FPS. So I know she has the experience and playing against G2 Gozen, having a really close match was really good for us. So it was good playing against her."

With this defeat, KRÜ BLAZE will be making its way to the lower bracket of the event. The next match will be crucial and decisive.
