"There were still some nerves in me"- FLYQuest RED's dodonut on her biggest takeaways from VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 (Exclusive)

VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 has reached its elimination stage, leading to several exciting matches. Day 3 started with a series between NA's FLYQuest RED and Pacific's ZETA DIVISION. The Bo3 (Best-of-three) went to the final map as both teams won on their opponent's map pick. However, this is when ZETA DIVISION completely took over the series — they dominated the decider map, Ascent. ZETA closed the map with a 13-6 scoreline and won the series by 2-1.

After the match, Sportskeeda Esports' Sneh Jadhav got the opportunity to talk to FLYQuest RED's dodonut, during which she said:

FLYQyest RED's dodonut talks about her takeaways from playing in VCT Game Changers Championship 2024

FLYQuest RED came into the event as the second seed from North America. Their domestic performances looked strong throughout the year, as a result of which many had high expectations for the team.

In their first match against Xipto Esports, FLYQuest RED delivered one of the most intense Bo3 series of the tournament. Both teams gave it their all and took things to overtime, where Xipto Esports just barely managed to cross the finish line. Their second match also saw them give terrific performances on the first two maps but unfortunately, they couldn't maintain it in the decider map.

FLYQuest RED's dodonut is a renowned pro in the NA Game Changers scene. She has delivered incredible performances time and again in her region. GCC 2024 was her first time playing at the global stage. So Sportskeeda Esports' approached dodonut to learn about her biggest takeaways from playing at her first international event. Here's what she said:

"I would say getting the experience to play on a big stage. This was my first big stage and even though I felt like I wasn't nervous, there were still some nerves in me. So I guess now that I have the experience that won't affect me in the next one."

Unfortunately, due to this defeat, FLYQuest RED has been eliminated from the event. They ended their tournament run with a 9th-10th place finish.
