"The absolute worst to be a 100T fan today": Fans devastated as 100T gets reverse-swept in both Valorant and Call of Duty

In the last 24 hours, 100 Thieves managed to get reverse swept in not one but two major tournaments. During the Valorant Champions Tour Americas Stage 2 Playoffs, the team lost with a 1-2 scoreline against KRÜ Esports. And to make things worse, around the same time, the organization lost to OpTic Texas in the Call of Duty League 2024 tournament. Naturally, fans of 100T were a little unhappy with the way these matches had turned out.

@knellica responded to an X post by 100T Nadeshot. The fan expressed the bitterness they had against July 20, 2024, a day where everything went wrong for 100 Thieves in Valorant as well as Call of Duty.

"The ABSOLUTE WORST TO BE A 100T FAN TODAY."

One fan, @EmeraldsMain, pointed out how winning during the Valorant matchup could have led 100T to Champions Seoul, and winning the COD match would have led it to the Champs Winner Finals. This is certainly a depressing fate for both players and fans alike.

"One was to get to COD champs winner finals and the other was to get to vct champs. I’m depressed""

X user @ElAngleee described just how it felt witnessing the loss of their favorite team on both fronts. While one loss was already bad enough, the other just added fuel to the fire.

Meanwhile, @Haasnaain seemingly had no sympathy for Nadeshot. The user accused him of not really caring about the 100T COD team, but they made no mention of the Valorant team.

"I have 0 sympathy for the dude, he really gives 0 f*cks about his CoD team."

Finally, one 100T fan felt grateful that at least the team got a fighting chance in Valorant and COD. @BittahBanditt was clearly upset over the losses, but they had seemingly found consolation in how things ended for the team during these matches.

100 Thieves went up against KRÜ Esports on July 20, 2024, and lost. This ensured that KRÜ would head into Valorant Champions Seoul along with Leviatán, G2 Esports, and Sentinels. On the same day, Leviatán went up against G2 and lost, so the only two remaining matchups for this stage of the VCT are as follows:

  • Leviatán vs KRÜ Esports on July 21, 2024.
  • G2 Esports vs the winner of Lev vs KRU on July 22, 2024.

These matches will decide who gets the top seed for Champions Seoul. However, all three mentioned teams have already qualified to get to the international tournament thanks to their performance during Stage 2.

Apart from them, Sentinels is set to make an appearance as well thanks to the Championship Points it accumulated over the last few tournaments. There will be four teams from each region competing for the top prize. Unfortunately, 100 Thieves is not one of them.
