Valorant: Complete Breach Abyss guide

Breach is one of the strongest Agents to play on the new Abyss map in Valorant. His Fault Line can slow down opponents, making them rather easy targets, and his Flashpoint is perhaps one of the strongest flashes in the game. Furthermore, Breach's Aftershock ability can quite effectively force opponents off the Spike in post-plant situations. It can also be used to clear small angles and get orb control.

This Breach Abyss guide will go through some strategies that can effectively optimize playing on the map with the Swedish Agent.

Fault Line

Playing Breach is all about teamwork. The Agent is perhaps the best Initiator for strong rushes onto the site. Use your Fault Line to help your entry-fragging Duelist safely make it onto the site. Communicate with the team, and use the Fault Line towards A Backsite or B Under while entering. This will effectively slow down opponents on Abyss for Jett to dash in and take an easy frag.

Using the Fault Line in default areas is perhaps the most important point. These areas are usually behind the boxes on A Site, B Under, and B Tower. You can also use it towards entryways during defensive halves. Here are a few examples.

Fault Line executes

During the attacking half, the A Main entrance and the B Main entrance will likely be smoked off, so taking a position right in front of the smoke isn't much of a gamble unless you already see the opponent spamming the specific area. In that case, wait a little bit before sending in the Fault Line.

If there are no smokes, execute the ability standing on the left side of the doorway and out of the enemy's sights.

B Site Fault Line

This Fault Line can stun all opponents coming into the site from B Main since the pathway towards the site is narrow. You can pair it up with a flash to get at least one frag out of the powerful combination.

Flashpoint

As mentioned before, the Flashpoint is one of the most potent flashes in the game. It is easy to use and more importantly, it can go through walls. This helps Breach execute flawless strategies without compromising his position. The general rule of thumb is aiming at a surface and flashing that particular area to blind any opponents right behind said surface.

Here are a few examples of strong Flashpoint executes that can deny enemy vision as the team rushes onto the site.

Flashpoint executes

This flash will effectively blind any opponent holding angles from A Backsite. These are usually Sentinels who have traps all over the site to keep attackers at bay. A Jett player could dash in right after the flash and take out the target quickly. Here are other Flashpoint executes.

B Site Flashpoint

This is a more aggressive take but can be highly beneficial. Get on the ledge on B Site and flash into B Main. Next, jump across and take as many frags as possible. You may get traded out but it is still a strong solo play that can have grave consequences for the opponent team.

This Breach Abyss guide will now discuss the Aftershock ability.

Aftershock

Finally, Breach's Aftershock can be used to clear out corners, delay defuses and plants, and deal damage to slower opponents. Use this ability when you know the enemies will have a hard time moving (after a stun or Slow Orb). Here are a few examples.

Aftershock executes

This Aftershock will clear out any opponents holding from behind the target area. It can force players to move out of the way and into the open where they are vulnerable to the friendly team.

This Aftershock can deny the plant as well as stop anyone from defusing the Spike. The position is default and the Aftershock has a wide enough area of impact. Let the charge out as soon as you get a sound cue for the best results.

This Breach Abyss guide was meant to help players understand how to play the Agent on the new map. Always feel free to explore and use his kit to the best of your abilities. Ensure proper communication to set the team up for success and pick the best Valorant Agents on Abyss for maximum impact.
