Valorant: Complete Reyna Abyss guide
Reyna is one of the most sought-after Duelists in Valorant. This is especially true after Riot Games updated the Agent during patch 8.11 giving her some nerfs and buffs. She is also a very interesting pick on the latest map, Abyss. Her aggressive playstyle and ability to take risks give her an edge that perhaps other Duelists lack. This Reyna Abyss guide will deep dive into how she can be utilized on the new map.
Reyna's kit has two powerful blinds, her Dismiss, Devour, and her ultimate, Empress. The kit can be incredibly powerful in ranked. This Reyna Abyss guide will first discuss playing the Agent from the Attack side and then, playing her on the Defensive end of things.

Reyna Abyss guide: How to attack
A Site
As mentioned before, Reyna is a Duelists who is highly rewarded for being aggressive and taking frags. Her entire kit focuses on eliminating opponents and creating space. So, a good attack strategy is to push yourself onto A site with a deep blind.
Clear A main and then quickly clear the short corridor before pushing Reyna's Leer deep into A site. Clear angles and push deeper into the site with another Leer to clear back site A. This is most likely where you will find the opponent team's Sentinels waiting.
Catch them off-guard with the blind and eliminate them. Quickly take your heal and ensure that the back site remains clear. Eliminate any oncoming opponents from CT Spawn. Let the Spike get planted and guard it from the Site itself, don't shy away from going headhunting.
Mid to A Site
Alternatively, you can also choose to break the doorways in mid. This can lead you straight to A Tower. Yet again, another aggressive approach but this time, opponents may not expect you to appear from behind them.
This can be a team effort with the rest of the team pushing A Main. Erupt into A Tower with a Leer and quickly gain space in Backsite A or stop rotation dead in its tracks.
B Site
This Reyna Abyss guide will now go over the B Site which is no different when it comes to attacking. However, you will need more assistance from your Controller who must cover as much of B Tower as possible. Then, you may lead the team into charging onto B Site from B Main.
Reyna's Leer ability is important but in truth, it isn't as effective as it could be given the nature of the entryway. However, it should work well enough to give you a quick window to enter the site. Clear the back site for the rest of your team, and do not hesitate to push enemy lines and go toward the defensive spawn.
Mid to B Site
You can choose to go from Mid to B Site and appear from behind enemies on B Tower. However, this may be a little difficult because the B site does not have any breakable doors that serve as an element of surprise. Your opponents therefore may catch you off-guard.
Playing Reyna on defense
Using the Operator as Reyna on Abyss can prove to be highly beneficial. This Duelist Agent is designed to take frags and get out of difficult situations right after.
Climb up on the platform on B Site from B Tower and hold this aggressive angle to quickly take out one of the many approaching opponents. Alternatively, you may even hold the window on the attacking side from B Tower.
Similarly, you can extend yourself to hold this off angle in A Main whenever possible. This can give you a free frag on one of the approaching opponents. Make sure you have a teammate together to help bait the opponent team or break any utility that may detect you. The teammate can stay safe towards A Site entryway.
This was the Reyna Abyss guide that covered all aspects of playing as Reyna on the new map.
