Valorant: Complete Viper Abyss guide
The latest Valorant map, Abyss, was released during Episode 8 Act 3 through the launch of patch 8.11, which brought balance changes to the game. While some players like to dominate their matches with flashy plays, others like to gain as well as maintain control over the whole map and play mind games with their opponents.
As Abyss is quite a big map, gamers will likely use Viper on it since she is easy to use and deadly at the same time. Even after the recent nerfs to her kit, she is still one of the most powerful Controller Agents you can play as in this title. Her Toxic Screen allows her to gain control over a large area, and if the enemies try to walk through it, they are subjected to additional damage.
Due to her versatility, Viper can be one of the go-to Controllers for Valorant’s Abyss. This article provides the best placements for her Toxic Screen and Poison Cloud on this map.

As shown in the picture above, align yourself with this wall and stand close to it. Turn around and look at the “A Tower door frame” and simply left-click.
The Poison Cloud will bounce onto the frame and go to its designated location. As shown in the image above, it will cover the entire door and hinder the enemy’s vision.

B site - Attacking
Similar to the A site-attacking Poison Cloud, the B site one is quite powerful as it blocks off the entire “B Tower.” Here's how to throw the B site attacking Poison Cloud.
Stand in the corner of this box below B Nest, as shown in the picture above. Put your crosshair in the middle of the doorway and move it on top of the second line above the door. You can refer to the image below for a clear view.
After you've positioned your crosshair, do a simple jump throw. If everything is done correctly, the Poison Cloud should cover the entire B Tower of Abyss' B site.
