Valorant: Complete Vyse Abyss guide

Valorant’s newest agent Vyse and their latest map Abyss are very much compatible together. The map is currently in the competitive pool as of Episode 9 Act 2, and a detailed Vyse Abyss guide is what you might be looking for. This is the first map in Valorant where you can fall off the edges to your death.

Vyse is the new Sentinel in Riot’s tactical shooter. She is the first agent of her class to have a flash ability that makes her a lot more aggressive and versatile. This makes her a top choice in the crooked, and frankly, confusing bomb site designs on Abyss.

This guide will give you a detailed overview of how to approach attacking and defending sides with Vyse on this new map.

Note: While attacking, the Razorvines are extremely useful in delaying site retakes. You can place them near choke points to buy time, or directly on the spike as an adjunct to your team's mollies.

The Shear can potentially watch flank for your team while attacking. However, it is often better used at retake choke points, much like a Sage wall but indestructible. You should use it according to your team's needs on the attack side.

Vyse Arc Rose setups for Valorant's Abyss

The Arc Rose is the most versatile part of Vyse's kit. Passive setups on the defender side are common. However, the ability to place your Arc Rose through walls can make for some interesting early-round aggressive plays on your defender side as well. Here are the best placement locations.

How to use Vyse's ultimate Steel Garden on Valorant's Abyss

Vyse's ultimate, Steel Garden, is a game-changer whether you are on attack or defense. The only thing to keep an eye on is the opponents' economy, as you do not want to use Steel Garden against ecos. On the attacker side, you can use your ultimate on full buy rounds during site executes, especially towards B as it covers the entire bomb site.

On the defender side, it is slightly easier to use. Use it while retaking in post-plant scenarios to give your team a measurable advantage. For example, while retaking the A site, you can cover the entirety of A main if you ult from heaven.
