Valorant Game Changers Championship 2024 drops: Release date, details, and more
The Valorant Game Changers Championship 2024 is the final official LAN event of this year. The event will kick off on November 8 at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin where a total of ten GC teams from all over the world will battle for the title of the world champion for the 2024 season. This is also the second international Game Changers event that is going to be held in Berlin.
With every international event, Valorant provides its viewers with some free rewards. These rewards are mainly in-game cosmetics that are related and themed around the said event. This article will provide information on what the rewards are for the Game Changers Championship 2024 and how to claim them.
All drops for Valorant's Game Changers Championship 2024
Just like last year, the Valorant's Game Changers Championship will feature two cosmetic items for 2024. These are:
- "Main Character" Title
- "Game Changers Championship" Player Card
Unlike the previous year, viewers will not be receiving any free Gunbuddies this time. This is unfortunate as the Game Changers Trophy Gunbuddy was considered one of the best drops from any of the international LAN events. However, the Game Changers Player Card for 2024 does feature some neat artwork.
Valorant Game Changers Championship 2024 drops release date
Similar to the previous year, GCC 2024 will be conducted in a double-elimination bracket format. This means that teams will get to play a minimum of two matches before being eliminated. The "Main Character" Title will be claimable from the beginning of the event to its semi-final match. These will lie between November 8, 2024, and November 16, 2024. However, the Player Card will be available to claim during the Grand Finals which is likely to be scheduled on November 17, 2024.
How to get Valorant Game Changers Championship 2024 drops?
The process to claim the free cosmetic items is very simple. These can be acquired by linking your Riot Games account to the platform you choose to watch the matches on. The two platforms that have these drops enabled are YouTube and Twitch.
How to get your drops on YouTube:
- Click on your profile picture
- Head over to your YouTube account settings
- Go to Connected apps
- Find and connect your YouTube account with Riot Games
Here is how you get your drops through Twitch:
- Click on your profile picture
- Head to your Twitch account settings
- Go to the Connections tab
- Find and connect your Twitch account with Riot Games
After you watch the livestream for the required amount of time, the cosmetic item should be available to claim from your inventory. The website that you chose to watch the matches on will also show you the exact progress that you have made towards collecting the drop. Once the drops are claimed, you will be able to equip them in-game.
