VCT Americas 2024 Stage 2: Schedule, teams, livestream details, and more
VCT Americas 2024 Stage 2 is set to start next week. This event will serve as the primary for teams in the Americas region to qualify for Valorant Champions 2024 held in Seoul, South Korea. The Americas region failed to lift the trophy at VCT Masters Shanghai but they still remain as one of the top regions in international tournaments.
This article provides everything you need to know about VCT Americas 2024 Stage 2 ahead of its starting date.
VCT Americas 2024 Stage 2: Format, teams, venue, and prize pool
Format
VCT Americas Stage 2 has a slightly different format from Stage 1. The teams in the Alpha and Omega groups will remain the same. However, instead of cross-group matches, teams will play against each other from the same group in Stage 2. All matches will be best-of-threes and teams will be awarded one championship point for a victory
Teams will qualify for the Playoffs Stage based on their overall record in Stage 1 and Stage 2 rather than placing the Top 3 in a group, which was the format in Stage 1. The Playoffs Stage features a knockout round where the losing teams are eliminated.
After this round, the playoffs transition into a double-elimination bracket. The Grand Finals and Lower Bracket Finals will be best-of-fives while the remaining matches will be best-of-threes.

Venue
All Stage 2 games will take place in the Riot Games Arena located in Los Angeles.
Prize pool
