When does Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 begin for Mumbai (India) server?
Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 is almost on its way. Unlike the previous Act that released a new and unique Agent, the next one will not contain as much new content for its players. The most notable addition will be the changes within the map pool that bring back some old favorites. Given the current meta, this can shake up the playstyle and bring some new life to the game.
This new update will be released on October 23 and 24, depending on the player's region, which means the exact timings will also vary. This article will focus specifically on the release of Valorant's Episode 9 Act 3 for the Mumbai (India) server.
Note: The content of this article is based on the previous durations of Acts. Riot Games can change the release date and time of Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 in the Mumbai (India) server without prior notice.
Release date and time for Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 in Mumbai (India) server
Like always, players need to note that at the end of Episode 9 Act 2, they will not be able to join the queue for competitive mode. However, in the act's final hours, they should be able to play other game modes like Swiftplay, Spike Rush, etc. before locking those off as well.
After that, it can be assumed that the servers will go into maintenance mode. This mode will last for a few hours, after which the update should be available for download. For Mumbai (India) servers, Valorant Episode 9 Act 3 should be available on October 24 at 4:30 am IST if everything goes smoothly. If not, then they should be available in a couple of hours after the mentioned time.
New changes coming to Valorant's Episode 9 Act 3
Episode 9 Act 3 won't have a lot of new content after its release. Like every new act, players can get their hands on a brand new Batltepass. This will feature three new skinlines for use alongside cosmetic items like Player Cards, Gunbuddies, Titles, Sprays, etc. They will also receive some of these for free if they are able to reach the required tier.
A new skin bundle called Doombringer will also be released in Episode 9 Act 3. The developers shared a glimpse at the skinline by posting its Phantom variant with the kill finisher and sound effects. So far, it has created quite a buzz among the playerbase.
Another change that will be making its way to the new Episode will be some old and familiar maps. The latest map rotation will see Pearl and Split added back to the map pool, whereas Lotus and Icebox will be removed. While these maps won't be available for competitive mode, they can still be played in other game modes: Swiftplay, Unrated, Spike Rush, and Escalation. With this new Act, players will also most likely receive a tease at the next Agent that might be in the works.
