TNA News: TNA announces details for Slammiversary PPV and following Impact tapings
On Friday, TNA officially announced the details for TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view, which will take place on Sunday, June 12. The event will take place in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios. The event will air in the evening at 8E/5P.
TNA Slammiversary will be TNA's first pay-per-view since TNA Bound for Glory which was held on October 4, 2015 in Concord, North Carolina.
TNA also announced that they will be taping television at Universal Studios, which they announced at the same time as the PPV details. Those will follow Slammiversary and run Monday, June 13 - Wednesday, June 15.
The show on Tuesday, June 14 will be "a semi-live taping".
You can read the official announcement at ImpactWrestling.com.
Also, TNA president Dixie Carter tweeted a 30-second PPV teaser for the event featuring TNA World Heavyweight Champion ‘The Voice of the People’ Drew Galloway, ‘The Destroyer’ Lashley, and ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ Jeff Hardy hitting his brother ‘The ICONIC’ Matt Hardy with an insane death-defying Swanton Bomb from the heavens. Plus, ‘The Ass-kicking Machine’ Ethan Carter III, ‘The Miracle’ Mike Bennett with Maria Kanellis-Bennett, and ‘The Prince of Eternia’ Eli Drake:
This event will hopefully put an exclamation point on various feuds simmering with the likes of EC3/Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis/Gail Kim, Drew Galloway/Lashley, The Hardy Siblings, and would potentially mark the beginnings of new ones. Slammiversary will surely be the one to watch out for and will be worth every single penny, as I expect the show will be in line with the great programming TNA is putting out nowadays every Tuesday.
