Best and worst of Backlash 2018

Backlash wasn't the show that we hoped it would be. There were mixed reviews for the Greatest Royal Rumble, and so we thought WWE would pull out all the stops for the first dual-branded pay-per-view. Somehow, there was a lack of cohesiveness running across the whole show. It certainly started off great but lost all steam thereafter.

Did you guys enjoy this show? We certainly thought there were far more bad moments than good, over the 3+ hours. Yes, the length of the show did not help matters either.

In this article, we shall bring you the best and separate it from the worst. Feel free to list your own best and worst in the comments below.

We shall have a tough time listing the 'best', but we'll try our very best.

#1 Best: Starting hot

Seth Rollins and The Miz tore it up at the start of the show!
Seth Rollins and The Miz tore it up at the start of the show!

Day by day, it is becoming clearer that Rollins is the MVP of the company. Not only is he the top babyface on RAW, but also one of the best workers across both the brands. The Miz proved that he too can hang with the Kingslayer with gusto. The two put on the match of the night.

It is amazing to see how far The Miz has come over the years. At no point in his career was he ever considered to be an exceptional worker. Yet, he has the basics down and has developed into a fabulous storyteller.

You know you're doing something right when Kurt Angle sends out a special Tweet, congratulating your match. Congratulations to The Miz and Rollins on having one of the best matches of the year 2018!
