10 best matches available to WWE for WrestleMania 34
Every single year we sit and fantasy book the biggest match possible for the grandest stage of them all – WrestleMania. Most of the time, as fans, we don’t get exactly what we wanted, but for the most part, we end up 70-80% happy with the finished product.
But given the expectations in place for WWE’s return to New Orleans, it’s fair to say that they really do need to knock one out of the park when they rock up to the Big Easy next April. So from celebrity appearances to rising stars, we thought that we’d take a look at some of the best options currently on the table.
We’ve tried to be as realistic as possible with our selections and while there may be a part-timer or two in here, for the most part, we’ve ensured that the stars of tomorrow receive more of a spotlight than those from yesteryear.
With that being said, here are our 10 best matches available to WWE for WrestleMania 34.
P.S: We know that the likes of Balor, Strowman and Joe don't make the cut here, but there's no stand-out match for any of them right now. They'd still be on the card, of course, but we're going for what we believe fans would be most invested in (for the most part).
#10. Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Paige
The common belief among fans is that Asuka should be walking out of WrestleMania 34 as the Raw Women’s Champion, and it’s hard to argue with that. As of right now, the champion atop the division is indeed Alexa Bliss, but as we saw last year she’s the perfect option for a heel champ heading into a big Mania title match.
If you add in someone like Paige, who has been on fire since leading the debut of Absolution, then you’ve got an underrated bout that could wind up being a show stealer. Some people may sigh at the idea of another multi-woman match, but so long as you build the story correctly, this could wind up being an interesting ‘power struggle’ kind of match.
