As 2017 comes to a close, a trip down memory lane seems inevitable. This year had its share of goodbyes and warm welcomes. Whether we bid a teary adieu to The Undertaker or greeted the monster among men, Braun Strowman, 2017 definitely had moments that made the WWE Universe smile.

#10 Usos vs The New Day rap battle

Hosted by rapper Wale, this segment saw the two teams in a rap battle. The New Day were the winners, but it was The Usos who might've stepped out of line with this un-PGesque remark:

"Let's just keep it PG, you know what's good... don't get all Rated R like ya boy Xavier Woods."

This was a direct reference to Xavier's role in Paige's leaked videos and hence a rumour has started that this particular line might not have been scripted. Whatever the case may be, this segment was undoubtedly fun and at moments, brutally honest. This line from The New Day really seemed to hit the mark.

"Now, Jim. You and your brother, you’re tag champs. You turned the Universe into believers/But please always remember you were absolutely nothing until your wife put you on Total Divas."
