10 Best WWE Superstars from the United States

To stand out amongst greats is usually a tall order, these wrestlers do it with ease

Despite wrestling’s status as one of the few forms of sport or entertainment that see worldwide participation, it often seems as though American wrestlers are at the forefront of the industry.

To stand among the best today, is a tall order with great wrestlers from all over the world like The Bollywood Boyz, Zach Sabre, Jr. and Shinsuke Nakamura, to name a few. These 10 Americans are at the front of the line as the best from their home nation.

Honorable Mention(s) – Randy Orton/Bayley

The Viper and Bayley have been too good to ignore in 2016.

Despite battling the injury bug most of the year, Randy Orton is always one of the best wrestlers on the planet, and for him to not be on this list is ridiculous. The newest member of The Wyatt Family is one of the greatest superstars of all-time and the third-generation Superstar, only seems to get better as his career continues.

Meanwhile, Bayley is clearly one of the best in the Womens’ Division and a date with Charlotte in a title match, can’t be too far out in the future for a Superstar that has been a huge hit with fans of all types. Bayley has a huge upside and the looks to climb the ranks in the future.

#10 Brock Lesnar

Even with only a handful of appearances, Brock Lesnar is one of the best from the US

While the Beast Incarnate may only participate in a handful of matches a year, any time he does so, it’s an attraction that either sees an entire WWE Network card built around it, or it’s the main event on one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year.

This is all for a very good reason, as Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant figures and legitimate tough men in professional wrestling history. He would be much higher on the list if he competed more often. While his in-ring appearances are limited, Brock knows how to make it count when he does lace up his boots.
