10 Interesting WrestleMania facts that might surprise you
WWE WrestleMania is still the biggest wrestling event of the entire year, after 33 highly successful years. The event has staged some of the biggest, greatest and most memorable moments in WWE history, and with that also comes a lot of crazy occurrences.
WrestleMania is a long history that has led to some really interesting statistics, but also many crazy and random ones that many fans don't even realize. Here are ten of such.
#10 Over 1 Million fans have attended
Yes, since it's inception, more than 1 Million fans have attended WrestleMania live and in person. Recent reports have stated that the accurate number of attendees over the years is at around 1.6 Million.
Although it has been 33 years since the first WrestleMania, the 1.6 Million number is surprisingly high when you consider that there have been a few WrestleMania's to have just about 20,000 in attendance.
In fact, it has only been every year since WrestleMania 23 in 2007 that stadiums have hosted the event every year, continuously. Before that, WrestleMania only saw stadiums for a couple years running before reverting to regular 25,000, or so, seated venues.
