10 “Say What?” Moments from WWE Raw: December 12th, 2016

Would New Day be celebrating at the end of this week’s Raw?

It was yet another go-home show before a PPV this week in WWE, as Monday Night Raw hosted their final show before this Sunday’s Roadblock: End Of The Line.

This Sunday’s show feels more like a detour before the Royal Rumble rather than a roadblock. This is down to a couple of reasons, one is due to the fact that there have been far too many pay-per-views over the last few months, so much so that none of them really feel special.

Also, the focus of recent editions of Raw has been more on the Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho falling out and Rollins’ pursuit of Triple H, rather than any of Roadblock’s main event matches.

Regardless, WWE may have been holding an ace up its sleeve to play this week. What would Raw have in store for the fans before the final pay-per-view of the year?

#1 Where was Emmalina?

Apparently, Emma’s makeover isn’t quite complete

Emmalina was set to debut her new gimmick on this week’s Raw, or at least that’s what we were told. Yet, this previously announced segment did not happen, and we instead got another vignette saying that Emmalina was ‘coming soon’.

This is a pet peeve of mine. I’m not annoyed about the Emmalina debut in particular, but if WWE were able to plan their shows weeks in advance and stick to it, then the product as a whole would improve.

Chopping and changing their plans on a whim is not beneficial to them or the talent on the roster.

She took to twitter to reveal the reason why she didn’t appear on RAW. By the looks of it, It seems WWE is planning on pushing her as a possible contender for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship after Roadblock, which explanins why WWE is saving her return for the falout episode of RAW for the PPV.
