10 Swerves that could happen in the WWE by the end of 2017
The WWE is at its best when it manages to surprise us. In this day and age, it's hard to avoid spoilers or speculation about what's going to happen so when the WWE does truly manage to pull something out of the bag that no-one sees coming, it's fantastic.
In the last week or so we've already seen a whole host of crazy things that happen within the WWE that would have surprised everyone, most notably Sami Zayn turned heel by saving Kevin Owens from Shane McMahon at Hell in a Cell. But we've also seen a Shield reunion, a shock Cruiserweight Title change and a new alter-ego for Bray Wyatt in 'Sister Abigail'.
But, with only a couple of months left until the year is over, the WWE still has plenty of time to throw in a few more unexpected curveballs. Here are 10 swerves that could happen in the WWE by 2017.
#10 The New Day turn on Xavier Woods
This is one that I don't want to see happen, but following the brilliant Hell In a Cell match between The Usos and The New Day, Xavier Woods seemed to take the loss pretty hard and blamed himself.
Whilst it probably wasn't Woods' fault that the New Day lost at Hell in a Cell 2017, there is an interesting stat that shows that during the rivalry with The Usos, the New Day have failed to pick up a win when the team of Big E and Xavier Woods is used.
On SmackDown LIVE, The Usos called out The New Day and gave them their respect and that's about all we saw of the trio following their HIAC loss. But it's possible that soon Kofi Kingston and Big E could put two and two together and start blaming Xavier Woods for their title loss.
