10-time champ to dethrone Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns to return with new Bloodline? - 4 huge things that could happen at Money in the Bank 2024
Following a critically and commercially acclaimed Clash at the Castle, WWE's next stop is Money in the Bank 2024. The company has started its build towards the upcoming premium live event, which is scheduled to take place in Canada on July 6.
With this being one of WWE's biggest events of the year, the creative team could be planning some big things for the Canada spectacle. Here are four huge things that could happen at the PLE:
#4. Goldberg returns at Money in the Bank 2024 to confront Bron Breakker
Goldberg recently revealed that he would love to have one final clash before he hangs up his boots for good. If Triple H decides to give the WWE legend a retirement match, SummerSlam would be a perfect platform for it.
If so, Goldberg could return at Money in the Bank to lay down the breadcrumbs for the same. The creative team could have the former Universal Champion make a surprise comeback to confront Bron Breakker.
The former NXT Champion seemingly teased a potential match against Bill Goldberg a while back. However, nothing has come of it yet. Nonetheless, things may finally change on July 6 as the veteran could return to set up a dream clash against Breakker.
Bron has been running rampant on the red brand. It won't be a bad idea to have him go over Bill Goldberg, as it could help his career in a big way.
#3. Roman Reigns returns with Bloodline 2.0
Roman Reigns is expected to return shortly to start his highly-anticipated feud against Solo Sikoa. However, The Tribal Chief may not return alone.
The Enforcer has taken the helms of The Bloodline, sitting at "The Head of the Table" in The Tribal Chief's absence. Solo has added three new members to his version of The Bloodline - Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Hence, the former Big Dog could return with a faction of his own to tackle Solo's uprising.
Reigns could have Jimmy and Zilla Fatu by his side. Jimmy was kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo a while back and has all the reasons to join Roman. Meanwhile, Zilla Fatu, the son of the late great Umaga, recently teased his involvement in The Bloodline saga and can return alongside Reigns at Money in the Bank 2024.
#2. Seth Rollins wins the World Heavyweight Title at Money in the Bank 2024
Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank 2024. However, things may not end well for The Archer of Infamy as he may drop his title to The Visionary due to Finn Balor's betrayal.
WWE has been teasing the implosion of The Judgment Day for the last few months, and the company may finally put the trigger on the same on July 6. The creative team could have Balor make his presence felt during Priest's encounter to cost him his title, laying down the foundations for a potential SummerSlam match.
#1. Jey Uso wins the Money in the Bank and dethrones Cody Rhodes
Jey Uso is one of the hot favorites to win the Money in the Bank briefcase on July 6. However, this could turn into something more as the ten-time champ (four-time RAW Tag Team Champion and six-time SmackDown Champion) could successfully cash in his briefcase on the same night to become a World Champion.
Cody Rhodes is currently involved in a program with The Bloodline. The Solo Sikoa-led faction could attack The American Nightmare at the Canada spectacle, leading to Jey Uso taking advantage of the situation and pinning Rhodes.
