10-time WWE Champion to make a shocking return at Survivor Series ahead of major match? Potential surprise explored
A 10-time WWE Champion might script an astonishing return at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event on November 30. Randy Orton has been out of action for the past few days after suffering a brutal neck injury at the hands of Kevin Owens on the November 8 edition of SmackDown.
KO delivered a banned WWE move, the sit-down piledriver to Orton rendering him motionless on the ground. He was taken to the hospital, and WWE in a statement later said that Orton was diagnosed with cervical cord neurapraxia, and there was no timetable for his return.
However, The Viper might return at Survivor Series: WarGames, and support Cody Rhodes for his match against Kevin Owens, which might take place at Saturday Night Main Event on December 14, 2024.
On the day of the Survivor Series, Kevin Owens could once again get into a heated argument with Cody Rhodes, blaming the WWE Champion for everything so far. Randy Orton might emerge from backstage and come out only to vent out his frustration at KO.
Orton might not compete against KO on Saturday Night's Main Event PLE, but he might extend his support to Cody Rhodes. The Viper shall have The American Nightmare's back against Owens, and once Rhodes beats him up, Orton could also go after his arch-nemesis.
Moreover, WWE CCO Triple H might then also come out announcing a special match between KO and Cody Rhodes on Saturday Night Main Event like a Falls Count Anywhere or No Disqualification contest.
Carmelo Hayes might side with Kevin Owens and help him against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes
There is a possibility that Carmelo Hayes could ally with Kevin Owens, as the former NXT Champion had a clash with Cody Rhodes backstage on the latest episode of SmackDown.
As The American Nightmare was walking backstage after his heated segment with Kevin Owens on SmackDown, Hayes passed a remark that led to a clash between the two stars. Both of them pushed each other before SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis came out to separate them.
Later in a backstage interview, Hayes took some shots against The American Nightmare saying who needs enemies when you have friends like Cody Rhodes.
Carmelo Hayes is slated to face Cody Rhodes on SmackDown this week, and it seems that Hayes might get help from Owens during the contest. This could in turn lead to an alliance between Hayes and KO, leading to the two helping each other in their rivalry against The American Nightmare and Randy Orton.
It remains to be seen what the future holds in this enticing rivalry.
