10 times WWE Superstars saved lives outside the ring
The WWE Universe see many of their favourite WWE stars as their heroes. Whilst WWE Superstars play larger than life characters on the big screen, it seems that some of them have proven that they really are heroes in the real world.
Many current and former WWE stars have proved that they are worthy of the term heroes by going above and beyond and saving lives of innocent people involved.
Many of these Superstars didn't need to step in when they did, but the people who were involved in these events will agree that many of these stars are not just heroes on screen but stepped into the shoes of real-life superheroes the first time their humanity was tested.
#10 Chris Masters
Chris Masters was known as "The Masterpiece" throughout his time with WWE, but he proved just how much of a masterpiece he was outside of the ring back in 2013 when he managed to rescue his own mother from a hostage situation.
It is reported that Masters' mother was the victim of a hostage situation at her own home when a neighbour forced their way in and then threatened to set fire to the house if the police tried to stop him.
Masters' uncle then alerted him that his mother was involved in this situation and by the time he got there the house was already on fire. Masters took matters into his own hands and uprooted a tree, threw it through the window, located his mother and then led her to safety.
It seems that this neighbour definitely chose the wrong mother to mess with since Masters also revealed that he gave the hostage taker what he deserved when he got in there.
