Hogan & Warrior collide

In 1990, Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior were two of the biggest Superstars in the WWE. Leading up to Wrestlemania VI in Toronto, WWE had positioned The Ultimate Warrior, then Intercontinental champion, The Ultimate Warrior, as the next megastar. He was soon to be on Hogan’s level.

During the road to WrestleMania, the two entertainers delivered passionate sometimes strange promos against each other. Neither wrestler was known for their technical acumen, but they were able to put on an entertaining 20-minute plus match.

Hulk Hogan missed his trademark leg drop and the Warrior hit a big splash and got the three count. This main event was their first encounter as opponents and was their best match. Warrior came out on top in front of 67,000 fans packed in the Skydome.
