Who really won and lost at No Mercy?

No Mercy is in the books and the Staples Center was treated to a PPV with many high and low points.

Now that the big September offering from WWE is in the rearview mirror, we can reflect on some of the people and ideas which suffered due to the show's outcome. We can also consider those few names that came off the event looking even better.

With seven matches on the main card, there was plenty of action and chances for unexpected events. So let's get into it and try and sort through the rubble after No Mercy.


Winner #4 Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns came away from No Mercy looking like "the guy." Although he might not be "the guy" that's ready yet, he is still obviously being placed in that role. Now it will just be a matter of time before we figure out what the Big Dog is going to do next.

John Cena even went into some detail on his legitimate worries about Roman Reigns not being able to capture that magic.

However, Roman Reigns is apparently being groomed to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. He will also most likely receive his grand coronation at next year's Show Of Shows as well, but he was certainly vetted by John Cena at No Mercy.

After kicking out of four AA's, the Big Dog looked very strong and that's an understatement.
