WWE is a record oriented business. It seems that legacies are built on the number of records that a superstar has to his/her name and over the past few years it seems that the company have been focused on breaking many of the records that have been held for a number of years.
The New Day broke Demolition's long-held record of being the longest reigning Tag Team Champions at the end of 2016 and it seems that has set the tone for many records that have been broken or set over the past few years.
With the Women's Evolution continuing throughout 2017, there are a number of women who have stood out this year and been able to claim records for themselves too.

Alexa Bliss has been setting quite a few records of her own ever since she made her debut on the main roster back in 2016 and became SmackDown Women's Champion.
She was the first woman to main event SmackDown Live inside a steel cage alongside Becky Lynch before she became the first woman to hold both the SmackDown and Raw Women's Championships when she was moved over to Raw as part of the WWE draft.
Alexa made some more history when she became the longest reigning Raw Women's Champion. Charlotte's first reign held the record at 113 days, whilst Alexa's first reign as Champion earlier this year was just shy of this at 112 days.
Her current reign surpassed Charlotte Flair's on Wednesday and she has now held the title for 118 days, the longest in the short history of the belt.
