10 WWE Superstars who didn't live up to fan expectations

Bray Wyatt
These are the 10 most boring WWE wrestlers in the world

When I think of 2017’s best WWE wrestlers, I think of people like AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, and Kevin Owens. They certainly did entertain us with their exciting matches, killer promos, and their creative direction contributed to their success.

But, then there’s that bunch of wrestlers who arrived as big names but have become lost in the crowd and have been forgotten. WWE clearly didn’t care enough about these characters, and over time they have sort of fizzled out.

This is a list of those 10 wrestlers who I think have become boring due to their poor booking and terrible performances.

Note: This is purely my opinion. You may not agree with everything I may have to say, and that’s OK with me. There have been a few wrestlers I have intentionally left out like Dolph Ziggler and Neville since I am not aware of what their WWE status is right now. Please feel free to voice your opinion in the comments section below.

#10 Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinuke Nakamura
Nakamura arrived like a rock star but hasn't achieved anything

When Nakamura debuted on Smackdown, I was so excited because Nakamura is really one of the most talented wrestlers on the roster at the moment. But since his arrival, "The King of Strong Style" hasn’t really done anything worthwhile. Though he was involved in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match, he ended up losing to JInder Mahal. I think that was the lowest point in his career so far.

He has also been involved in some pretty boring feuds, and his booking has been lacklustre. Whoever is in charge of his booking should be fired on the spot. It almost feels like WWE just don’t know what to do with him.

He has such amazing star power that he should be a main event wrestler. At the moment of writing this, the former NXT champion is rumoured to win this year’s Royal Rumble match, so let’s see how that works out. Maybe we will get to witness Nakamura Vs Styles at WrestleMania this year.
