10 WWE Twitter feuds you should know about

The biggest difference between the previous WWE eras and the current era is social media. Back then, superstars had to rely on television shows to build up their feud. But now, they have much wider platforms like Twitter and Facebook. While these can be used pretty effectively for building up storylines, it may work in an opposite direction as well.

For instance, a platform like Twitter often proves to be the stage for superstars to take personal shots at each other. And not all of these disputes are a work. This list takes a look at some of those Twitter battles that entertained the fans. And at the same time, exposed the real life grudge between certain wrestlers.

CM Punk and Hulk Hogan

CM Punk is pretty active in Twitter and you are going to see a lot of him in the list. The most recent venture of Punk in the social media platform came against Hulk Hogan. It was Hogan who fired the first shot by saying “Like I said the Blackhawks are in a whole lot of trouble, they should take their puck “punk” and go home, CM can show them the way brother.” '

Punk was not impressed with these words and hit back at Hogan. Punk Tweeted, "You mispronounced the team captains name and didn't even know the coaches name. You're a hack.Shut the fuck up or I'll wreck you Hogan" at the Hall of Famer. The chances of this Twitter battle going on is pretty high, but as for now, Punk's tweet is enough to earn him a place in the list.

CM Punk and Hideo Itami

Another recent Twitter battle that CM Punk had was with Hideo Itami. Itami and Punk have a lot of history between them. The interesting exchange between these two started when Punk tweeted to Young Bucks. Punk said that he did not steal finishers. Hideo was a bit offended by the tweet as the finisher that Punk used was actually made famous by Hideo.

Hideo replied to the tweet by saying that Punk is a great comedian to say that he does not steal finishers. The two men later locked horns once again later when they had an exchange about their merchandise. As far as we know, this Twitter battle is far from over.
